Description

Union Pacific Railroad Company is looking to fill an Associate Systems Engineer position in Omaha, Nebraska. As part of the Tech team, the Associate Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to leverage the Salesforce platform to delivery world class results for the Marketing & Sales and Customer domain and will contribute to improving the customer, shipper, and employee experience in applications across the entire quote to cash domain.

Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based upon best practices and business needs.
  • Develop custom User Interfaces using Lightning Web Components.
  • Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources.
  • Work closely with product owners and user experience teams in an agile environment to incrementally release new applications.
  • Something on integration
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to facilitate solutions.
  • Formulate tests and contribute to continuous integration structure.
  • Provide 24x7 production support and troubleshoot business problems.

Qualifications - Required
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field
  • 5 or more years of experience as a Salesforce developer in an enterprise-level environment
  • 3 or more years of development experience with Lighting Web components
  • Proven experience with the following Salesforce applications: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
  • Experience with external system integration through REST APIs, including unit test code and data integrity validation
  • Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to interpret business requirements
  • Skilled experience with unit test coverage
  • Knowledge of common software design patterns
  • Proven problem-solving skills

Qualifications - Preferred
  • Experience with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Salesforce certifications
