Yoh has an immediate, 2 year contract opportunity as a Scheduling Coordinator within the Entertainment & Media Industry to join our client, hybrid to report to their office in NYC

  • Max hourly rate $24/hr.
  • Internship - 2 years of experience specifically within the Entertainment/Television industry
This position serves our client's Scheduling team in a variety of areas including helping to develop and execute network strategies, carrying out discrete parts of assigned scheduling activities and implementing and refining ongoing scheduling processes.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Typical responsibilities include gathering, entering and disseminating scheduling materials for client linear network.
  • Responsible for entering and maintaining official program schedules into Broadview. This position includes regular data entry and data governance.
  • Actively participate in the strategic planning of the client linear schedules. Includes screening and electing episodes of assigned series.
  • Create, draft, and release Program Changes and Monthly Releases.
  • Act as Scheduling liaison for client and Internal Departments - answering programming and scheduling questions as needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for listing services, ensuring programming information is accurate and complete.
  • Monitor ratings for audience trends. Must have awareness of the competitive landscape for strategic scheduling and counter programming stunts.
  • Works closely with post-production and media logistics teams on version management and editing needs.
  • Coordinate nonlinear scheduling of client's content, working closely with internal groups on the windowing of content across nonlinear platforms (D+ & MAX)
  • Perform other duties as needed and as directed by the
  • Programming & Scheduling team.
Who You Are
  • College degree within film/television or closely related field
  • 2 years of experience in area of responsibility, former Pages may do well
  • Enthusiastic fan of television content.
  • Analysis and troubleshooting skills as they relate to scheduling.
  • Extreme attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of video/media production and/or processing a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • PC/Mac background; experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Experience with entertainment scheduling systems preferred
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to act independently and responsibly
  • Employee will also perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
