Base Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $114,100.00 Annually

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

    Group/Division

    The Cybersecurity group at KLA is involved in every aspect of the global business. We defend against cyber-attacks and provide cybersecurity tools, incident response services and assessment capabilities to safeguard the environments that support the essential operations of KLA. We are passionate about identifying adversarial activities and anticipating a wide variety of threats to strengthen our defenses and the overall protection of KLA intellectual property.

    We are in search of a Cybersecurity Communications Specialist to join our Awareness Team. The qualified individual will work with the broader cybersecurity team to spread awareness of policy, procedures, and standards across KLA on a global scale. This position will be instrumental in the creation of training modules and materials; be highly collaborative position with partnerships across the Cybersecurity, IT, Legal, Communications, and Training teams. Communication, both to the community, and with critical partners, will be key.

    This is hybrid position, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The successful candidate will be expected to be in the office two to three days per week.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Exercise your creativity to drive engagement among KLA employees with Cybersecurity content

    • Create and develop new efforts to increase Cybersecurity Awareness across a global employee base

    • Assist with the growth and maturity of existing Cybersecurity Awareness efforts

    • Develop written, audio, and video training materials

    • Build and maintain process documentation, how-to guides, explainers, and other educational materials for a global audience

    • Write and deliver newsletters on a consistent cadence

    • Work with teams in Cyber, IT Security, Legal, and Communications to develop internally distributed content

    • Assist with phishing exercises and related communications and training

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study, in Information Assurance, Communications, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, English or similar

    • Demonstrable experience crafting and maintaining documentation, training materials, or other community-facing communications

    • History of driving communication efforts for broad audiences

    • Knowledge of enterprise level technical environments

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Pursuit or completion of Security or technology related certifications

    • Experience communicating technical subjects to a broad, non-technical audience

    • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

    • Ability to multi-task, adapt to changes quickly and handle heavy ticket volumes

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Familiarity with infrastructure and end user technology solutions

    • Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy
