Job Description

The Senior ITS Capability Consultant identifies opportunities and designs, develops, and implements first-class technology development programs that support CDW's strategies and business goals. Scope includes the design, development and implementation of learning solutions for technology coworkers and participation on project teams to design, develop and implement organizational improvement and learning solutions.

This role also requires passion, experience, and innovation in delivering engaging, efficient, and impactful interventions. These strategies are critical in addressing demands of the technology solutions industry and the needs of a highly talented, geographically dispersed, and technology focused workforce.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Facilitation: Facilitate training workshops to develop skills of coworkers
  • Schedule coworkers for annual and ad hoc training, manage Training Calendar
  • Facilitates learning programs using a variety of delivery methods
  • Facilitates in-person workshops as well as via virtual platforms
  • Tracks, records and analyzes feedback surveys for all training conducted
  • Reviews facilitator evaluations for continuous self-development and improvement
  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts, seeks opportunities to continuously improve learner experiences in creative ways which result in the improvement of desired outcomes
  • Works with other trainers and participates in pilot training sessions and train-the-trainers
  • Assesses learning and performance needs to craft effective and efficient plans for performance solutions and services that address business-specific requirements and constraints.
  • Ensure learning objectives are established based on necessary competencies.
  • Develop, manage and execute project management strategies to ensure effective resource allocation, commitment from project team members, timeliness and attainment of business requirements.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders, target audience members, and business partners to understand the business, needs, and opportunities.
  • Creates detailed project plans for each program and provides status updates.
  • Works with business partners, business stakeholders, and senior management in understanding business goals and to generate buy-in for initiatives / programs
  • Develop the process, structures and environment to operationalize programs.
  • Design: Determines best learning approach based on audience and content needs and performance objectives
  • Manage and maintain technical curriculum review process with subject matter experts to ensure up-to-date and relevant content
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to share best practices and support organizational initiatives
  • Participate on project teams to design, develop and deliver instructional materials
  • Up to 10% travel

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong Business and technology acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, collaboration platforms, and learning design programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with present stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated instructional design and development and project management experience with a successful track record of increasing learner knowledge and performance
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive and collaborative cross-functional relationships
  • Aptitude for new concepts and technologies with the ability to quickly put them into practical use
  • Track record of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
  • Proven ability designing, developing and implementing new programs to meet business goals
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, problem-solve, and engage stakeholders to achieve success
  • Calm under pressure and resilient when faced with change in direction or challenges.
  • Ability to navigate a global corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree focused in Business Administration, Communications, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development / Effectiveness or Adult Learning
  • Knowledge of innovative learning tools
  • Knowledge of the technology industry
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
