Responsibilities

The Legal Response Specialist provides service and execution support in responding to Subpoenas, Garnishments, Attachments, Levies and other types of legal warrants served on the Bank. Participates in meetings and/or conference calls with clients, client's attorney, bank's counsel and members of the bank's management team when necessary to facilitate legal requests and requirements. Provides customer service to external and internal customers.

Qualifications

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Coordinates with Legal Services Representative/Paralegal, management, and attorneys in preparing, reviewing and responding to legal requests and requirements in a timely manner.
  • Organizes and files legal documents.
  • Maintains an inventory of all current, future, and past legal requests and communication.
  • Assists in special projects and research when assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1 year of legal services experience OR 3 years of branch CSR/operations experience with emphasis in reviewing/interpreting customer banking accounts/legal lending or banking documents.
  • Core and support bank processing system experience.
  • General knowledge of banking products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Preferences:

  • Legal service education or certification.
  • Knowledge of various legal requests and requirements to include Subpoenas, Garnishments, Levies and Attachments.
  • 1 year of legal services experience.
