Your Role
You will help maintain warehouse stock and help fulfill orders by receiving, storing and distributing material, equipment and products while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will report to one of our 3 Warehouse Supervisors and work at our South Charlotte location (About 5 miles from Carowinds). This position is fully onsite #LI-Onsite.
Hours:
When we are busy we may work 9 or 10 hour days which may affect our starting time. We may work Saturday from time to time when we are extremely busy.
Late Shift - 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Pay:
Material Handler I (Minimal equipment operation) - $18.00 Per hour (Most needed at the moment)
Material Handler II (Operating Cherry Picker and or Reach Truck) - $19.00 Per hour
Material Handler III (Operating Turret Trucks and or Dock Stockers) - 20.00 Per hour
Responsibilities
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (Pick, Pack, Wrap, Label, Load, and Ship)
Read work order or follow oral instructions to check materials or containers to be moved
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers
May drive a forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks
Complete daily forklift checklist
Operate all forklifts in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
Maintain accurate bin locations and inventory counts
Report any discrepancies
Continued learning within the department
Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping
Perform other duties as assigned

You have excellent attendance
You have safe work habits
You have experience working in a warehouse environment
You have experience in operating warehouse distribution equipment such as dock stocker, cherry picker, reach truck, turret truck and sit down
You are able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, walk, stand for extended periods of time, and reach frequently
You are able to work with others in a team environment
You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
