JOB SUMMARY The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible for performing field maintenance on Company aircraft as per the duties and responsibilities listed below to the highest degree of competence and safety in compliance with all applicable 14 CFR regulatory requirements as well as company policy and procedures. The AMT will report directly to the assigned Regional Maintenance Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES * Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, alterations, troubleshooting and parts replacement. * Complete Mx, Inspections and, paperwork properly and timely. * Participate in on-call maintenance rotation. * Assist in keeping RFS facilities and equipment neat, orderly and compliant. * Place inventory orders and assist with core returns. * Comply with proper parts tagging procedures. * Screens aircraft forms for proper discrepancy and MEL documentation. * Communicates aircraft status with the Base Lead Technician. * Complete return to service paperwork. * Record maintenance and parts expenditures for billing purposes * Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Preferred 2 years of corporate aviation experience. Position Description
The Line Service Technician is a customer service position that is responsible for supporting all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft, flight crews and passengers. In addition, Line Service is a support position to other departments: Sales Charter, Aircraft Maintenance and Facilities. Line Service Technicians required the following: strong decision-making skills, the ability to follow company standard operating procedures, flexibility in dynamic work environment; must also possess good interpersonal skills. Safety is the number one goal for the Line Service Technician at GrandView Aviation. The position works with fuels and other flammable and hazardous materials; proper handling procedures must be followed at all times. The airport ramp and hangar can be high noise environments so proper personal protective equipment is required. Moving aircraft in close proximity of people, buildings and other aircraft requires extreme caution.

* Greet, park, tow, move, and marshal aircraft arriving and departing the hangar area.
* Provide lavatory and water service.
* Assist with customer service, loading/unloading, etc.
* Assist passengers and/or crew with baggage and cargo.
* Assist with general cleaning of aircraft, hangar, ramp, building, and customer areas
* Assist with wing-walking duties.
* Fueling Aircraft, Top off fuel truck & fill out proper fuel farm paperwork.
* Provide basic security to people and property.
* Direct people, drivers, and flight crews on ramp area.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED Required.
* 1 year of aircraft line service experience is required.
* Customer service experience required - Able to communicate with customers and colleagues sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
* Work in the fast paced 24/7 environment of business aviation.
* Strong organizational skills - detail oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize and be proactive.
* Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
* Flexible, strong ability to deal with change.
Physical Requirements
* Stepping up/down ladders, tugs, and fuel trucks.
* Lift baggage from ground level to waist and overhead while loading aircraft
* Bending and stooping to pick up tow bars, and other equipment, up to 75 pounds
* Stoop below wings to chock aircraft
* Standing and walking for extended periods of time
* Good hand-eye coordinator with god peripheral vision
* Frequent lifts, pushes or pulls of up to 75 pounds are normal and the physical requirements include stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling
