POSITION PROFILE.

Current Global is seeking a Vice President, Client Experience with expertise in consumer health and wellness marketing. A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and integrated media mindset, the Vice President will be responsible for collaborating with high-profile healthcare clients, working alongside top-performing teams to develop strategic and creative client work. With an integrated media mindset and passion for earned-first storytelling, they will oversee work from concept to execution, serve as a primary client contact, and mentor junior talent.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Contribute to the development of plans, translating strategies into impactful tactics designed to deliver positive earned media results, influencer engagement, and social conversation.
  • Own responsibilities for executional leadership of client programs, budgets, plans.
  • Maintain daily client contact, serving as a trusted resource and advisor.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team integration (strategy, creative, integrated media specialists), in addition to managing account-focused team members.
  • Drive development of communications plans, translating strategies into tactics and ensuring team deliverables align with objectives.
  • Become a trusted industry expert, going deep into client's business to provide value.
  • Support and suggest improvements and new ideas to exceed client expectations by leveraging industry knowledge and experience.
  • Manage ongoing team resourcing/staffing to ensure successful delivery of work product.
  • Contribute to the career growth of junior team members, serving as mentor and role model.
  • Participate in agency development and assist with new business.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen in the areas of budgeting, billing and staffing.

QUALIFICATIONS.

  • 8+ years of relevant reputation building and corporate communications experience, ideally with both agency and in-house experience.
  • Experience working with integrated teams and on integrated campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; verbal and written.
  • Strong decision-making and project management skills; deadline and detail oriented.
  • Strong media relations skills and contacts.
  • Social media and influencer marketing literacy.
  • Ability to translate client needs into workable plans.
  • Team management; people development.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and endlessly curious.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

NYC Salary Range: $125,000-$165,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
