Allan Myers is looking for a dedicated, responsible, and experienced Survey Manager to oversee survey operations for various projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in survey-related tasks. Must have experience working with deadlines, and the ability to multi-task and efficiently respond to changing priorities. Responsibilities:

    Demonstrate expertise in survey requirements for diverse projects, encompassing stakeouts for utilities, roadway construction, topographical surveys, boundary surveys, and as-built surveys.
  • Collaborate with designers to determine required files for survey operations. Ensure the accuracy of files before their use in survey field calculations and design model file creation.
  • Effectively manage the survey team, overseeing tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Optimize team performance by creating a cohesive and efficient working environment.
  • Establish comprehensive project survey plans, outlining specific field and office procedures to streamline survey operations.
  • Support the setup, management, and maintenance of machine control technology. Troubleshoot issues related to machine control equipment to ensure seamless operations.
  • Minimize equipment downtime by implementing effective maintenance schedules and prompt issue resolutions.
  • Proficiently operate Trimble GPS, Robotic Total Station, Trimble Field Software, Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of survey equipment to optimize performance.
  • Uphold safety standards and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for the survey team. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Achieve high-levels of client satisfaction through accurate and efficient survey deliverables.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction and utilities.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license. Hold a valid Virginia PLS license.
  • Proficient in Trimble Business Center, GPS machine control equipment, and related software.
  • Proven leadership skills, setting high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Project oversight experience from primary controls to as-builts.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Geographic Techniques or related field.
  • Drone pilot ability, licensing, or the potential to obtain.
