The Manager of Revenue Cycle Performance - Remote will work directly with the Revenue Cycle Operations teams to ensure successful delivery of quality Revenue Cycle performance from all RCM departments while maintaining positive communication and operational channels with field leadership. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, a quality control mindset, and a project management/critical path-oriented approach to all projects. This role is a critical field leadership-facing position, with the opportunity to foster ongoing relationships and identify opportunities for RCM improvement.

Perhaps the most important skill in this role is excellent communication skills and an ability to manage up. This role is critical to the organization and will be involved and visible at all levels internally at HRC and externally to the field.

Your Impact

Responsibilities for the Manager of Revenue Cycle Performance:

    Effectively engage with field leadership to identify pain points in performance and following thru with execution remediation plans with Revenue Cycle Operations teams
  • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports and presentations on financial status, opportunities, and risks
  • Accurately gather, synthesize and communicate timely relevant information, that impact revenue cycle metrics, to improve financial and quality performance
  • Develop insightful findings, provide recommendations, and help facilitate discussions
  • Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about nuances with our business partners and healthcare changes
  • Special ad hoc analyses to uncover potential gaps in regional performance
  • Work with team to analyze data groups to assist in the development and implementation of process improvement strategies
  • Maintain department standard of quality metrics related to claims processed, claims rejected, claims denied, collection volume and rates relative to fee schedules, patient payments, account write-offs due to contractual issues and collections problems
  • Aid in creating and monitoring models that connect strategies to measures of performance that ensure successful reporting of revenue cycle accounts receivable
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and effective analyses and reporting of financial metrics to field leadership
Minimum Qualifications

To be formally considered for the role, the following requirements must be met:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University, or, related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of revenue cycle client facing experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle operations
  • 3 plus years of work analysis experience supporting larger groups

#LI-Remote

Pay range of $80,000 to $110,000 + annual bonus: up to 10% of base pay depending on bonus criteria. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
