CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Core Responsibilities & Tasks

As Director of Enterprise Change Enablement for Sherwin-Williams, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing the strategic transformation and growth of our company; positioning us for continued breakthrough innovation and sustained profitable growth.

In the immediate term, this role works with senior business leaders to support our ongoing enterprise transformation efforts. In doing so, you will craft an enterprise-wide change management strategy that transcends silos and brings clarity to the mission, vision, and desired future state. Our enterprise transformation programs encompasses a global optimization and modernization of our processes, tools, and data.

In the longer term, this role drives strategies to ensure that our transformation initiatives are delivered on time, with desired financial impact. You will also identify and deliver relevant Change Management best practices and tools to enable successful and sustainable long-term transformation at Sherwin-Williams. Additionally, this role will operationalize our enterprise change management playbook and service delivery model. Finally, this individual is responsible for imbedding Change Management as a core management capability in conjunction with Sherwin-Williams Learning and Organization Development teams.

Operational Support

  • Work with business leaders to ensure that key enterprise transformation initiatives are supported with sound change management work plans, comprehensive of all change management levers, including process re-wiring, upskilling/training, communications, tools/data/reporting, compensation/incentives, org structure evolution/changes. Ensure timely and successful execution of such change management plans
  • Partner with Transformation, HR, Corporate Communications etc... to analyze potential stakeholder impacts of proposed change initiatives, highlight interdependencies, and develop focused communication and mitigation plans
  • Coach leaders and business focal points on their change narratives and strategies, to enable those leaders and focal points to effectively role model desired changes. Builds change capabilities of other leaders
  • Liaise with HR and Corporate Communication teams, as needed, to ensure that internal and external communication strategies and execution align with Change Management objectives, strategies and plans
  • Synthesize input and provide Sr leadership teams and business focal points for change initiatives with updates on change management progress. Make recommendations regarding change management plans as needed.
  • Develop change readiness surveys for employees and other readiness / impact assessments as needed
  • Partner with all organizations to start and maintain a network of change champions/community of practice

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Human Resources, Communications, Strategy, or related field is required.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Candidate has successfully operationalized an enterprise change management or change enablement function in a complex environment.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of Ten (10) years post-college experience.
  • Position requires strong PC skills including ability in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Power Point
  • A minimum of ten (10) years' experience managing teams in fields such as organizational development, strategy & transformation
  • Oracle implementation and systems administration experience/exposure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong executive facilitation capabilities
  • Strong ability to multi-task.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fostering an atmosphere of teamwork among all departments.
  • Developing positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong people skills to support remote users effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills geared towards simplifying field communication
  • Must be able to work in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Be a key player of the implementation of the platforms to support its successful adoption.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, and Power Point, Teams
  • Familiarity with HRIS
