The University of New Mexico, College of Education and Human Sciences, Department of Health, Exercise & Sport Sciences, invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer III, beginning August 2024.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate-level courses in physical education teacher education and meet the needs for service in the department, college, university and the community.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Physical Education Teacher Education or a closely-related field. Degree must be completed by start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability or potential to teach undergraduate courses in physical education Teacher Education.
- Demonstrated ability or potential to teach graduate-level courses in Physical Education Teacher Education.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
- Demonstrated ability or potential to provide service to the program, college, and profession.
