We are currently looking for a hybrid remote Procurement Specialist to take on a vital role in supporting our Procurement team and existing commercial, municipal, local, state, and federal subcontracting activities in the West Coast and Pacific Business Units.

What you will do:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will assume a role in the department ensuring the efficient execution of the entire procurement lifecycle from identifying appropriate vendors through purchase order closeout.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Project Managers and technical staff to support project needs, while simultaneously ensuring compliance with contract requirements and applicable laws and regulations?related to commercial, state, and federal (FAR & DFARS) contracting.
  • Properly maintaining highest ethical standards.
  • Fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Issuing RFP, RFP amendments, Purchase Order, Subcontracts, Change Orders/Modifications.
  • Performing evaluation of proposals and conducting subcontractor negotiations.
  • Identifying complex/high-risk procurement actions and working with management to mitigate.

What you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree and/or NCMA certification desired.
  • 1- 5 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in using and developing various subcontract service order types.
  • Knowledge of all contract types (FFP, T&M, CP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with purchase and acquisition strategies for private and public sector clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the FAR and Federal contracting vehicles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Word and Excel.
