Shift - Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 PM - PRN Schedule

Responsibilities

  • Individuals within this job classification are accountable for providing wound-related and other basic nursing care to the wound care center's patients, under the supervision of a registered nurse, licensed independent practitioner or Provider, according to all WCC and hospital policies and procedures, care and safety protocols and Clinical Services Practice Guidelines as well as to; accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) guidelines, as applicable.
  • He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
  • The LPN is expected to participate in the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program/state approved educational program.
  • LPN
  • Greater than 1 year
  • Current LPN license upon hire in the State of Practice- to maintain throughout the duration of employment in this position.
  • BLS (upon hire)

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Wound care experience preferred
