Join the pioneering Satellite Positioning Innovation Team at Fugro USA as a Senior GNSS Scientist. In this role, you will build upon the team's rich history of delivering world-class enhancements in the GNSS domain. Leveraging your expertise, you will drive the adoption of multi-frequency Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technologies to achieve unparalleled accuracy and reliability in satellite positioning.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

  • Spearhead research and development efforts in GNSS technology, focusing on multi-frequency PPP advancements.

  • Capitalize on the team's legacy of innovation to further enhance GNSS solutions and applications.
  • Lead the design and optimization of algorithms for precise positioning, incorporating multi-frequency data.
  • Stay at the forefront of GNSS advancements, aligning research efforts with emerging industry trends.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate multi-frequency PPP solutions seamlessly.
  • Contribute to the creation of scientific reports detailing cutting-edge technologies developed by Fugro.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering growth.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Geodesy, Geomatics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience and a proven track record in GNSS research and technology advancements.
  • Proficiency in multi-frequency PPP technologies, showcasing a deep understanding of their principles and applications.
  • Strong expertise in algorithm design, optimization, and implementation for precise positioning.
  • Familiarity with software development and programming, particularly in languages like C/C++.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
  • Possess the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel.
