Pharmacy Intern - Per Diem
Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital
Baltimore, Maryland

As a per diem, nonexempt CPSSolutions, LLCPharmacy Intern, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; and billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This position will work a schedule of weekends from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and will provide additional coverage as needed.

Pay: Starting at $18+ per hour based on work experience

About the Facility: Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is a 102-bed non-profit children's hospital that treats more than 8,000 patients each year on an inpatient, outpatient and day treatment basis set in the scenic neighborhood of Mt. Washington in Baltimore that provides long-term care for children with complex health problems. MWPH accreditations include the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and The Joint Commission. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-dayoperations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy:The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 7:00 am-7:00 pm, and on weekends (both Saturday andSunday) from 8:00 am-4:30 pm. The pharmacy is closed on major holidays.

Required Qualifications:

  • Maryland Pharmacy Intern license in good standing
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacy Intern is required.
  • Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid MD Driver's license and reliable motor vehicle

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months

(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity

Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving

HepB3 Series(or declination)

(Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
