Overview

Inovalon is seeking a Deal Desk Manager to develop and manage our deal flow strategy and processes as well as our commission process. This individual will partner with the Sales, Finance, Product and Legal teams to define and support standard and complex deal procedures, while attaining approval from the necessary decision-makers. The Deal Desk Manager would oversee and/or assist with all aspects of deal structuring: pricing, quote creation, contract reviews and non-standard terms, working closely with the Sales team to ensure deals are managed to their conclusion. Post- deal closure, the Deal Desk Manager would maintain and administer the commission process.

Responsibilities
    Build Chekclist of documentation, SFA requirements, and deal lifecycle with sales and Solution Engineers.
    • CACs, SOWs and participants who construct and edit, pricing, etc..
  • Partner with sales, legal, finance, product, and other functional teams to build and streamline our deal desk processes
  • Act as a Sales-facing subject matter expert on process, policy, pricing, and contracting
  • Assist with contract negotiations and manage the approval process, including liaising with involved internal groups such as Legal, Finance, Product, etc
  • Assist with pricing process and manage the approval process, including liaising with involved internal groups such as Sales, Finance, and Product
  • Manage the day to day on deals through the entire deal process including management of escalations of all issues
  • Develop best practices for pricing and business terms, based on the improved use of data and market knowledge to support decisions
  • Participate in the review of and response to RFP’s, RFI’s, RFQ’s
  • Provide sales team with weekly and ad-hoc reporting regarding pricing and contract status
  • Train sales on pricing, quoting and contracting models and best practices as needed
  • Work with Sales Operation to ensure all deal level data in Salesforce is up to date and accurate;
  • Other duties as assigned; and

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area of study (required)
  • Superior analytical background with strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly effective communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to drive results
  • Capable of explaining concepts clearly and credibly across all levels of the organization
  • 7+ years experience in pricing, sales operations, financial analysis or relevant experience preferred
  • High level of attention to detail.
