CONTROLLERS
The mission of Controllers is to ensure that the firm meets the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated and public financial institution. As part of the firm's second line of defense, Controllers provides the critical analysis required while ensuring the internal and external financial information of the firm is accurate. Additionally, Controllers serves an important role in safeguarding the assets of the firm through the independent scrutiny of financial information. Controllers engages regularly with the firm's regulators and auditors and through its strong culture of control and challenge helps to protect the firm from reputational and other risks.
Corporate Controllers is responsible for external and internal financial reporting for the firm and its subsidiaries, including the firm's earnings release and SEC reporting, daily internal management reporting, legal entity reporting, fund accounting for the firm's investment funds and the firm's compensation accounting functions. Across these functions, Corporate Controllers use their expertise to ensure the integrity of financial information and that the firm and its subsidiaries meet the reporting obligations of a public financial institution.
Legal Entity Controllers is looking is looking for a Vice President to join the Goldman Sachs & Co. team. Goldman Sachs & Co. is the firm's primary US broker dealer providing broad range of investment banking services to a diverse group of corporations, financial institutions, investment funds and governments.
