As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions we are expanding our staff and seeking a Lighting Auditor to join the FSG - Dallas team.
 
Job Description
 
As a Lighting Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects with the expectation of completing them on time and within scope. The ideal candidates will be able to effectively and clearly communicate audit results and progress to both internal and external customers. We are seeking candidates with experience in the lighting industry who are self-motivated, detail-oriented and highly organized to join our team.
 
A Lighting Auditor will:
 
• Effectively walk buildings or campuses gathering data on customer’s existing lighting system
• Create take-off of lighting fixtures, emergency fixtures, and lighting controls
• Read and check lighting specifications to ensure they are in sync with layout and application drawings
• Provide accurate and timely audits to team members
• Collaborate with Management/Sales on all proposals
• Increase overall project performance
• Communicate with team members when inconsistencies in specifications and drawings are found.
• Minimize lighting changes on projects​
• Travel throughout territory to conduct on-site audits
• Act professionally and ethically at all times
 

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to travel throughout  sales territory
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multitask while staying organized
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Positive customer service skills
  • Experience in lighting and electrical a plus!
