This position is only for currently enrolled Clayton State students.
The student will learn and perform the following:
To Learn to Communicate Effectively With the Public and the Campus Community
* Interact with police officers, the campus community and visitors
* Learn to maintain professionalism when interacting with irritated Faculty/Staff, Students and visitors .
To learn how to write and process Administrative Tickets
* Patrol parking area and write administrative tickets for violations of the Parking Rules and Regulations
* Patrol interior and exterior areas for suspicious activities
To learn Process Parking Permits
* Become familiar with computerized ticket processing system
* Provide administrative assistance as needed
The University Internship Program Initiative is part of the Laker Bridge to Completion Program, funded by a Predominantly Black Institution Formula Grant through the U.S. Department of Education.
Requirements:
* Excellent customer service skills required
* Attention to detail required
* Clean criminal and driving record
Hours:
* Monday through Friday anytime between 8am-5pm
