Keysight Technologies Equipment Maintenance Team is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the Equipment Maintenance Apprentice position supporting our PMTC production manufacturing site in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. This role is responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas including precision turning and post machining processes such as heat treat, debur and inspection. Duties will be related to maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting, technical analysis and problem-solving.
This internship requires working full time as a maintenance technician during the day and taking related courses simultaneously in the evening. Over time a person in this role, through a combination of classroom education and hands on experience, will learn the skills required to support multiple types of manufacturing processes and equipment with respect to the repair, maintenance, installation and/or enhancement of machinery and equipment or interrelated systems.
- Requires current enrollment in Junior College or specialized training/certification/apprenticeship program ( Working on AA in Electronics highly desired)
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment or processes
- Knowledge and skills to provide technical support of production equipment, troubleshooting and technical analysis and problem-solving
- Ability to Conduct tests, and/or problem resolution associated with components, parts, products or processes/systems
- Experience in minor and major PM's, and repair work
- Specialized skills in equipment maintenance and electronics preferred.
