The Information Security Architect will be responsible for identifying security risks by reviewing and monitoring of security measures for the protection of computer networks and information across the infrastructure and Cloud Environments. This role will be required to work closely with the business users and technical teams to help mitigate security risks that will impact the organization. Interprets security related regulatory controls to apply the appropriate architecture/design for cross functional teams. The Information Security Architect position requires an in-depth understanding of the business applications, process and procedures. The Security Architect will work closely with management in the development and enforcement of in security policies and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations.

Technical lead that designs and implements enterprise wide security initiatives to harden the security posture of the organization;
• Identify gaps in the current security architecture and enthusiastically design solutions to fill those security holes;
• Work with Architects from different technical disciplines to ensure the secure rollout of business initiatives;
• Act as lead Cyber Security Consultant utilizing previous experience and knowledge to drive the technical implementation of security solutions;  
• Lead and ultimately be responsible for the identification of security trends in order to achieve and maintain a holistic security posture including, but not limited to risk analysis, security architecture and design, and systems evaluations;
• Ensure ongoing protection of confidential data and risk assessment relative to Inovalon business model including, but not limited to classification of data, accessibility controls, storage and resource allocation;
• Liaise with business to understand their security architecture needs and influence adoption of enterprise-wide security architecture. Deliver risk evaluation for to enhance Information Protection strategy;
• Work extensively in the development and designing distributed information systems and information security systems programs;
• Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;
• Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
• Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;

• 3 years in an Architect type role
• 3 years' experience in Azure and AWS security design
• 7 years in a Security Role
• Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
