The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for the execution of the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care. The assistant nurse manager will consistently demonstrate professionalism and will uphold standards of practice by holding team members accountable for continued compliance in accordance with organizational policies, protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications include:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science
degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Valid Maryland RN license required
* Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* One year of current Med/Surg experience or related acute care
experience
* Certification in department-specific area within the first year of the position
* Two years' work experience preferred in department-specific area
