As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions Facility Solutions Group is expanding their staff and seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our Denver, CO team.

As a Journeyman Electrician you will plan layouts, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment for commercial lighting. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial lighting and electrical maintenance, as well as promote the core values of FSG through excellent customer service and assuring the safety of all work.

A Construction Electrician will:

• Conduct jobs in accordance with relevant codes and site specific procedures while following applicable safety procedures.
• Communicate with superintendent regarding production schedule, scope changes, back charges, material and labor management.
• Reading blue prints, running conduit, wiring devices, troubleshooting, and performing quality control testing.
• Manage material to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and staged.
• Coordinate with other trades prior to and during installation process.
• Manage adherence to contract scope, specifications and code.
• Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems.
• Use appropriate hand tools, power tools and testing equipment in order to properly complete a job.
• Mentor Apprentices from beginning to end of assignment to ensure quality work and facilitate learning.
• Communicate with fellow employees in order to maintain satisfactory work conditions.
• Increase job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical and regulation publications, as applicable.
• Perform any other duties or assignments as management deems necessary.

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• MUST have current State Issued Journeyman Electrician’s License
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass drug and background check.
• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Positive customer service skills
• Experience in lighting a plus!
