Position Summary:

LinQuest is seeking an Enterprise Architect to support our USSTRATCOM Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) customer at Ft. Meade, MD.

Our customer serves as principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the Nuclear C3 Enterprise within DoD and oversees systems engineering and integration for the entire National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) infrastructure. The NEC SE&I Division activities span the complex systems, programs and capabilities that compose the NC3 enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing NC3 Enterprise Architecture expertise to support data-driven enterprise decisions.
  • Supporting senior leaders and provide architectural recommendations to meet strategic objectives for future IT system integration.
  • Collaborating with NC3 architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE).
  • Producing and publishing baseline and incremental NC3 system of systems architectures to support and update information hosted in enterprise digital engineering tools.
  • Developing detailed architecture artifacts for subsets of the NC3 Enterprise, as needed - All View (AV), Operational View (OV), and System View (SV) artifacts.
  • Ingesting, re-formatting, and publishing the NC3 "As-Is" architecture using validated and verified authoritative data to support and update information hosted in the NC3 Enterprise Library (NEL) or other digital engineering tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in DM2 (DoDAF Meta-Model)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field with 2+ years' relevant experience (3+ years preferred) working with NC3 related capabilities, procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry standards, OR 8+ years' relevant experience, including 3+ years' working with NC3 related capabilities, procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry standards in lieu of degree
  • Active TS with SCI eligibility
  • Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • BS degree plus 2+ years' relevant experience working with NC3 related capabilities, procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry standards, OR in lieu of degree 8+ years' of relevant experience, including 3+ years' working with NC3 related capabilities, procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry standards
  • Ability to work in a secure, confined location.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with any DoD (NC3) related platforms/systems
  • Working-level proficiency with tools such as Cameo and/or Tableau
