Job Description

Your candidacy is currently being considered for a requisition for an Alight Inc group company. As you may be aware, Alight has announced intent to divest its Payroll & Professional Services business to HIG Capital. After the transaction closes, this position will be aligned to the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital ('Divested Group'). By applying for this position which will be with the Divested Group company, you understand and agree to the information you submitted for your application with Alight being shared with the Divested Group company. About the Role

As a senior leader, you will ensure excellence in delivery for the entire Tax Filing organization. Oversee and manage the client delivery of tax filing, directly and indirectly, through colleagues and managers.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing client delivery and satisfaction in Tax Filing. This includes ensuring timely and accurate responses to clients and partner teams. Additionally, it involves resolving escalations promptly and representing Tax Filing effectively in client meetings.
  • Monitoring and auditing tasks to identify trends and improvement opportunities. You will lead process enhancement efforts and drive positive outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include developing, reviewing, and communicating completion of Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Seeking a candidate with excellent communication and team facilitation skills to engage with clients and internal departments. The role involves ensuring successful client delivery and effectively communicating complex issues to clients.
  • Supporting and providing timely research on compliance and regulatory issues. Facilitate issues requiring higher level escalation.
  • Ensuring and supporting compilation, reporting, and analyzing of metrics. Ability to utilize metrics to drive improvements and close process gaps.
  • Resolving and facilitating open items to resolution ensuring alignment with Tax Filing point of view.
  • Educating clients and providing subject matter expertise for payroll tax filing.
  • Mentoring and developing managers and colleagues, to include performance and accountability.
  • Managing Tax Filing suppliers, as appropriate, to support accurate and timely delivery.
  • Coordinating and/or providing needed training for new colleagues or processes. Coordinate and support SOP development, training, and communication to team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years payroll tax filing or a related field.
  • Display advanced understanding of payroll tax filing and knowledge of regulations and legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3+ years client interaction and management experience.
  • 5+ years people management experience.
  • Experience leading managers and/or team leads.
  • Possess exceptional computer skills with current technical knowledge.
  • Experience with Payroll tax software.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

69,700 USD

Maximum :

110,600 USD
