Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for an MCA to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for all inventory/manufacturing financial transactions within our organization.

This position will be located at one of our facilities in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute inventory accounting postings and ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate with Inventory teams to ensure proper transactions
  • Process variable cost and manufacturing allocations
  • Prepare Month End reconciliations and reporting
  • Assist the Manufacturing Cost analyst to investigate and analyze monthly manufacturing variances
  • Provide data for all interim and Yearend inventory audit requests
  • Prepare and Execute the Global Cost update for product portfolio
  • Prepare US best Estimates Quarterly
  • Collaborate with cost areas to prepare yearly forecasts responsible plants

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance/accounting roles, including experience in cost accounting
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts (GAAP and/or IFRS)
  • Experience in financial ERP systems (SAP, E1, others)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills, including success with working in cross-functional teams
  • Positive mindset, passionate, good team player
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to travel up to 5%

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Outside Processing Manufacturing
  • Experience in financial reporting systems (COGNOS, TM1)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Powerpoint, Teams, Word)
